A frustrated rock star, Kevin can be seen behind his piano or guitar at various functions with any band that will have him.
  • Dave Charlton

    David Charlton

Dave has recently joined Millbrook Events after spending around 20 years in the industry, the last 6 years here on a freelance basis. He will let us know soon whether he thinks this was a good decision! Dave brings a wealth of experience to Millbrook, particularly in the Automotive sector and has the challenging task maintaining order within the Events office and ensuring that we exceed our clients expectation. He has recently been voted best Tea and Coffee maker after his executive decision to purchase more expensive coffee for the office!
  • Katie Wiles

    Katie Wiles

    Senior Event Manager
Katie has been at Millbrook Events for the last four years after she was prised away from her previous employers. Never one to shy away from a challenge, she is completely unflappable and always finds a solution to every situation she is presented with. She can usually be found in front of the mirror ensuring every hair is in place, but this attention to detail is also apparent in the impeccable way she manages her Events which always leaves her clients happy.
  • Meena Chander

    Meena Chander

    Senior Event and Account Manager
Meena has been a part of the team for over 5 years and is responsible for managing our key accounts as well as specialising in the more complex events for some of our more demanding clients. Although tiny in stature she has a big voice, a colourful personality and is prone to getting a little over-excited when telling her own brand of jokes. With a background in the performing arts, one of the highlights of any social gathering is her rendition of Vogue, by Madonna, complete with very individual dance moves.
  • Angela Edlin

    Angela Edlin

    Events Project Analyst
Angela has been at Millbrook since the beginning of recorded history and is the person who makes sure that our suppliers are paid and our clients are invoiced. Angela has a wider responsibility for logistics on larger events and is responsible for keeping our costs under control. Possibly her most important role though is the management of the Tuck Shop, ensuring that there is always enough chocolate available.
  • Katy Fitzgerald

    Katy Fitzgerald

    Event Manager
Katy has recently joined the team on a permanent basis after spending a year with us during her industrial placement as part of her Event Management degree, which she has successfully completed. Katy is already starting to come up with ingenious ideas for Christmas Parties and alternative ways to promote our venues. She has a slightly worrying fetish for fancy dress and likes going barefoot, but does dress appropriately when she has to.
  • Charlotte Abson

    Charlotte Abson

    Event Support
Charlotte is spending a year with us on an industrial placement as part of her Event Management degree and is starting to come to terms with having a proper job, having to get up early and working long hours when we have clients in our venues. At Millbrook Events we take two undergraduates on placement every year (this year being called Charlotte was one of the entry criteria!) as we believe that this offers us an opportunity to spot and develop talent for the future. As a child, Charlotte wanted to run away to join the circus and she thinks that at Millbrook, she may have inadvertently fulfilled this ambition.

As a child Charlotte used to enjoy eating coal and therefore we believe our clients can look forward to some interesting catering suggestions during her time here.
  • Roger Dent

    Roger Dent

    Front of House Manager
Roger is the public face of our catering team and is the link between our Event Management and Catering operations. Always heavily involved with the planning of our events, you will most likely encounter him during the many meetings that lead up to an event. You may catch a fleeting glimpse of him as he glides between the different catering areas on events once we are live, he is not called “The Silver Fox” without good reason!
  • Jason Waller

    Jason Waller

    Senior Venue Technician
Jason is one of the unsung heroes in the department, primarily responsible for maintaining all the venues, ensuring they are fully operational your events. However, it doesn’t stop there as he also has the task of making sure that vehicle fleet keeps on running as well as keeping track of the thousands of pieces of equipment we have acquired over the years. All this means that he struggles to find time for a round of golf. Jason has been at Millbrook for over 12 years and if he doesn’t know about it, can’t fix it or find it, then it probably doesn’t exist.
  • Mark Goddard

    Mark Goddard

    Venue Technician
Mark is another of our unsung heroes working closely with Jason maintaining the venues and helping clients rig their events. He always has a smile on his face and nothing is ever too much trouble for Mark - you can tell the weather forecast is going to be good because the building vibrates as he arrives astride his Harley Davidson.
  • Ed Portlock

    Head Chef
Ed is the Head Chef of our on-site catering team. Creating everything from the working lunch for your meetings to your bespoke party menus, whilst ensuring the staff are kept happy with the odd chocolate cake! Just make sure you don’t enter the kitchen during preparation or you may become the ‘plat du jour’! In a former life, Ed has held a Michelin Star, but have to give it back when Gordon realised it had gone.
